“Some intellectuals considered that recruiting Sambhavi to an international conspiracy was an unforgivable crime and came together to save her. Amongst them the fight by Babu Gogineni is unforgettable. He submitted a petition to the Human Rights Commission to save Sambhavi’s rights, and many intellectuals and people’s organizations stood behind the petition. If Human Rights activist, Rationalists and Jana Vignana Vedika leaders did not jump into the arena, matters would not have come to light at all about Sambhavi. The struggle by Human Rights groups to get her out of the temple and into a school, however, is unforgettable.
“Wherever Sambhavi will finally be, the people’s minds, which were caked with superstition, got cleared. We should pay tributes to those Human Rights leaders who enlightened the people saying that we should not believe everything”.
