The www.iheu.org home page has a new look, aimed at making the site easier to navigate and more focused on the main activities and objectives of IHEU. Feedback on the new design would be very welcome.

Duncan Crary of the Institute for Humanist Studies, which generously hosts iheu.org, writes: "The company that hosts our website recently upgraded some software on our server that may have caused the Institute for Humanist Studies website and the sites that we host through our Humanists.net program (i.e. Secular.org, SecularStudents.org, FloridaHumanists.org, and IHEU.org) to be unavailable or to load with errors. Our hosting company working with us to get the bugs worked out... Thank you for bearing with us in this time of transition. One way or another, we will solve this problem."

Over One Million Visitors in 12 Months!

IHEU’s website received over 1.1 million visitors in the last twelve months – and they viewed over 4.5 million pages between them!

IHEU’s website is today the world’s best resource on International Humanism with over 2000 documents in several languages, an efficient search function, regularly updated news items as well as several years of International Humanist News which can be downloaded as PDF files free of cost.

Thanks to you, IHEU's website has evolved into the world's best resource on International Humanism! We are pleased to announce that in January 2006 alone the website had 70,120 visitors - 158% higher than the same month last year! About 10% of these are repeat visitors, which means that while we have a loyal core group, we are getting more first-time visitors. Visitors stay longer, visiting on an average 5-6 pages each time.

If you find that the text (font) size on this Web Site is too big or too small, you can easily change it. You can make the adjustment in your web browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, FireFox, Mozilla, etc).

We are pleased to announce that the Resolutions & statements section of this web site has been completely reorganised. A quick guide to the section has been provided. The new section contains over 170 policy documents dating back to IHEU's foundation in 1952. The new section has been categorised by topic and is also searchable by the full text of the contents. Each resolution and statement now has its own web page and is categorised into one or more subject areas. Where resolutions and statements have a geographical perspective, they have also been categorised by country or region.
