Organization’s purpose

TSP was formed in 1984 and is a democratic body, to fight against superstitious beliefs and to promote rational thinking and scientific temperament.
1. To make people scientific/rationalist thinker is the prime objective of the society.
2. To delineate programs to aware people about polices of the exploiter/ruler class, spreading superstitions directly or indirectly and also about socio-economic factors responsible for the same.
3. To help people trapped in superstitious beliefs by showing them the logical path.
4. For the fulfillment of the above mentioned purposes, organization will publish books, rationalist magazine & seminar, sentience caravans, magic shows, counseling center for psychological disorders etc.
5. For the fulfillment of the objectives of the organization, will organize like-minded activists.

Past and Present Activities:

1. Conducted various rationalist programs, magic shows, seminars, workshops in educational institutes, and publish various books and a magazine to meet above objectives.
2. Solved more than 45000 cases involving psychological disorder like women possessed by so called evil souls/spirits, oppressed women due to male dominant society, domestic violence etc.
3. Awareness programs in typical rural area by the way of Plays, Dramas, and Lectures from experts in a very interesting way, selling books at a very reasonable prices.
4. To aware people, prepared compact discs/videos/cassettes of various plays/ lectures and documentaries.
5. A television serial is under way for achieving the same objectives.
6. Organize seminars/programs under FIRA (Federation of Indian Rationalist Association).
7. Under IHEYO trying to build a Asian Humanist Alliance.
