Racial discrimination
Submitted by admin on 31 December, 1972 - 00:03
In accordance with the charter of the United Nations and basic human rights, the IHEU calls for an end to ethnic or racial discrimination wherever it exists. The IHEU condemns the continuing policy of apartheid in the Republic of South Africa and the attempts being made to extend this racist, discriminatory and exploitative policy to other areas and countries in the Southern half of the African continent.
In particular the IHEU condemns unreservedly the recently ordered expulsion of Asians from Uganda as a clear and explicit example of racist discrimination.
