Humanist and Ethical Union of Kenya
Humanist and Ethical Union of Kenya began its activities at the University of Nairobi following the activities of students in the Philosophical Society at the main Campus. It has grown to diversify its projects through involvement, co-participation and innovation.
The most active organ for outreach remains the Project Nabuur Initiatives which is headquartered at the Institute for African Ecology and Philosophy, it is through the Project Nabuur Initiatives that we have launched the Kenya Association of Humanists in Aid of Women Atheists (KAHAWA). We will endevour to reach to women and men, we will endevour to promote equality through our secular stance, and we shall innovate ethical maneuvers of justifying our stand as a Humanist and Ethical organization.
Humanist and Ethical Union of Kenya operates’ in a constitution that has been deliberated with joint efforts from:

8. United States International University – Young Diplomats Forum (2006)
9. Institute for African Ecology and Philosophy
10. Center for Inquiry - East Africa (Kisii Regional Office)
MEMBERSHIP
Anyone able and willing to actively support the Union and to implement its aims is invited to join the Union as a member. Applications are to be sent to Headquarters. We will continue to operate as the umbrella organ for all humanist groups in Kenya.
