Buddhiwadi Foundation is closely associated with Bihar Buddhiwadi Samaj (Bihar Rationalist Society -- BRS), a membership organization for promoting rationalism, humanism, atheism and secularism. Bihar Buddhiwadi Samaj is an associate-member of International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU). Since its inception in 1985, the BRS has published several books and booklets, mainly in Hindi. This function, however, has now been taken over by Buddhiwadi Foundation.
