Presentation: Still Forgetting Women: Genetic Information, Moral Obligations, and Gender
Inmaculada de Melo-Martín is Associate Professor of Philosophy at St. Marys University in San Antonio, TX. She received her M.A. from the University of Oviedo, Spain and her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of South Florida. She recently completed an M.S. in Molecular Biology. Her research interests include Bioethics, Philosophy of Science, and Environmental Philosophy. She is the author of Making Babies: Biomedical Technologies, Reproductive Ethics, and Public Policy (Dordrecht: Kluwer, 1998). Her current work focuses on the implications of the biological sciences and biotechnologies for ethics and public policy.
