Statement by IHEU President and Executive Director following September 11 events.
In this time of tragedy and great distress, on behalf of the IHEU we would like to share with you all our feelings of solidarity and togetherness.
There is disbelief and disgust for what has happened. The horror of the human devastation was as intense as the incomprehension and anger at the spontaneous jubilation in some parts of the world. Never, it seems, are human values more urgently needed than now. In the past, civilisation has ultimately triumphed against such barbarity, and we hope this will be the case now as well.
As we all psychologically pick ourselves up from the rubble of our destroyed humanity, our hearts go out to those who have become victims of this mindless and senseless attack.
The culprits who have planned and conspired to carry out this attack have to be identified and punished appropriately, but we hope that vulnerable communities will not be victimised in the search for the guilty.

I would expect when clicking on "News" to get all of the news items rather than just those that do not relate to any other category - rather like All Mail in Gmail. having just the oddball items that don't fit anywhere else gives a highly distorted picture of what was news. By all means retain the separate categories of news for people who know what they are looking for.

Changes to news structure
I tend to agree, but there's a technical issue that prevents the menus from working properly if we did this. An alternative would be to move all the articles in news to a new general news category (under news) and providing a pointer article at news just as we do for campaigns and conferences.
(BTW, if we did have a news page that showed all news stories, it would look almost exactly the same as the home page.)
So what I plan to do is:

Lesson to be learned
Lesson to be learned from 911 USA and UK London bombing Attack.
911 Commission Report is easily available on Net.
USA and UK are funding the Pakistan for Training and help to Terrorist. This is written in 911 Commission Report. After 911 and London Bombing still USA and UK are funding the Pakistan which go to Terrorist Training.
Actually these Terrorist make the practice in the Indian Land. Now the Indian Local Press of 1000 million people openly say that what the USA and UK have cooked, should smell from nose and eat the same. Not only that, Indian Local Press openly say that India should learn the Lesson and forward all these terrorist back to USA and UK to do their activities in USA and UK.
I write this story.
Indians are very much fade up with Pakistani Terrorists in India, who have attacked Indian Parliament also. Government of Mr. Bush in USA and Mr. Blair in UK are elected by citizens of USA and UK.
The press and media of population of about 1000 millions people wish that Lesson should be given to USA and UK.
I request the Humanists in the world to do the needful for these hate blame culture developed in the mind of Indian about 1000 millions (I repeat 1000 millions)
