IHEU, in association with member organization the Norwegian Humanist Association announces that the 18th World Humanist Congress is to be held in Oslo, Norway, on August 12-14, 2011. The main Congress theme is "Humanism and Peace".

Information on themes, venue and Oslo and Norway is now available on the Congress website. Several other events will take place in conjunction with the Congress, including the IHEU General Assembly, the IHEYO General Assembly, IHEU leadership training, workshops and a meeting of the ILCAF network.

More information on the program, speakers, accommodation and travel grants will be available at a later date. Registration for the Congress and all related events will be available online in November 2010 on the Congress website.
