Humanists challenge European Union’s discrimination against non-religious
Submitted by Matt on 19 October, 2011 - 20:45The European Humanist Federation (EHF) has accused the European Commission of discriminating against non-religious organizations. EHF has lodged a complaint with the European Ombudsman, stating that the Commission, which is the executive branch of the European Union (EU), is violating its legal obligation to work with non-religious groups in the same way it works with religious groups.
Humanists rebuke Holy See for violating its international duties
Submitted by Matt on 6 October, 2010 - 14:29Speaking at the current OSCE Review Conference in Warsaw, David Pollock, President of the European Humanist Federation (EHF), delivered a strong rebuke to the Holy See (an OSCE member state) for its interference with the rule of law in other states, contrary to diplomatic protocols and its own specific undertakings.
